Wind N.W & clear. St[eame]r Stepping Stones moves went up the river

Port Royal arrived from below.  Mahaska fired several

times towards City Point.  Galena made signal 935

Fresh breeze from N.W & passing clouds. At 12.45

St[eame]r Stepping Stones went up the river & returned. 2.45 St[eame]r Satellite

& Tug Boat Fred Kopp with submarine boat in tow arrived from below

Wind & weather same. Port Royal went down the river.

Jacob Bell came down the river & returned.  Metamora (flag of truce)
