Moderate breezes from W[est] & pleasant weather. 

At 11.45 Wachusett, Delaware & Stepping Stones came down the river 

The Delaware fired several times in direction of Bermuda Hundreds

Meridian to 4 P.M.

Wind W.S.W. at 2 PM Sch[ooner] Mary Haley was towed along side & commenced coaling ship.  Steamer Stepping Stones went down the river & Delaware came

down near flag ship
