Commences and until 4 AM   Heavy rain with

thunder & Lightning, wind variable [?] at N.W.

Wind S.E & cloudy, Gunboat Ponce de Leon came down

Fresh breeze from the South [ward] and cloudy weather

at 8.30 the Gunboat Dragon went down the river

Light breeze veering from west to North with pleasant weather 

At 1.40 the Mahaska & Jacob Bell went up the river                                                                                                                                                                         William Flye

 

 

4 to 6 P.M

Wind N.E. fresh & cloudy weather.  St[eame]r Jacob Bell came  down the river
