Calm & pleasant. Maratanza went up the river &

From Meridian to 4 PM

Light baffling airs from the South’[wa]rd.  At 12.30

St[eame]r Yankee went up the river.  At 1 Maratanza arrived.  Flag ship

Wind & weather same.  At 5.30 Mahaska & Jacob Bell came

up the river

First part calm. latter part squally with rain

Heavy squalls from S.E & rain.  At 11 the weather
