Mariners’ Museum to participate in Blue Star Museums program

FREE Admission to all active-duty
military & their families!

The Mariners’ Museum will participate this summer in Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment of the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,500 museums to offer FREE admission to all active-duty military personnel and their families (up to five family members) from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2012.  Active duty military include Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and active duty National Guard and active duty Reserve members.

"The Mariners’ Museum’s long relationship with our military runs deep, and we are pleased to participate in the Blue Star Museums program," said Anna Holloway vice president of collections and programs at The Mariners’ Museum. "This program is a great way to recognize our service men and women, and their families."
