Girl Scouts

The galleries of The Mariners' Museum will come to life with stories from around the world. Girls will "travel" around the world and hear stories from different times and cultures.

Learn how slaves coming to the New World held on to their culture through their stories. Hear stories and songs from the American Civil War. Learn how quilts might have been used as code for the Underground Railroad and then tell your story as you make your own personal quilt.

Travel to Asia, South America and other parts of the world to hear tales told by expert storytellers.

A minimum of 5 (five) scouts are required to schedule a program and reservations are required. Fees include all applicable craft materials and may vary for more intensive programming. One chaperone is required for every 5 (five) scouts.
