Celebrate the Park is a free event that will feature live bluegrass and folk music with the Raw Beets and In Laymans Terms. Activities include make-and-take activities, family games, scavenger hunts, interactive environmental displays and demonstrations, nature walks on the Noland Trail, pet adoption with Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter, and much more!
Celebrate the Park will be held on the Museum’s front lawn. Food trucks will be on-site for an additional charge, and Park, Trail, and Lake merchandise will be available for purchase. Be sure to take our Park survey at the event for a free pair of sunglasses (while supplies last) and also be entered to win great prizes donated by our community partners Lowes, Village Bicycles, REI, and Reach Orthotics and Prosthetics.
