Civil War Site Tour: CSS Albemarle

Come explore sites associated with the CSS Albemarle! The tour beings at 9:00 AM leaving the Mariners’ Museum en route to Edenton, Plymouth, and Fort Branch, North Carolina. The Albemarle, built in a cornfield in North Carolina, helped turn the tide of war in favor of the Confederacy in 1864. Sites associated with her construction, successes, and sinking await you on this day trip!

FAQ

Food is not provided with the tour. You are welcome to bring your own lunch. We will however, take time to stop for some great Eastern North Carolina BBQ, too!
Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, appropriate weather protection. The tour will only be cancelled and rescheduled in case of extreme weather.
