Saturday, September 10, 17, and 24
The Mariners’ Museum Park is a wonderful place to explore and a fantastic place to take pictures. Brock Switzer, the Museum’s Photographer and Digital Imaging Specialist, will lead a three-part photography workshop series that will develop your photography skills as you explore the outdoors. Please join us for one of these classes or all three!
In part one, on September 10, we will explore the technical aspects of photography: aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, and we will learn to master our cameras’ manual controls. Part two of the workshop, on September 17, will focus on composition and creativity. We will capture beautiful photographs by combining our technical and creative skills. In part three, on September 24, we will take part in a live critique of our images, with useful tips to take our photography to the next level.
Please bring your digital camera with manual controls for this workshop. We will take a lunch break; please bring your lunch or plan to eat in our café.
