The Bronze Door Society Privileges

Membership in The Bronze Door Society bestows several privileges and responsibilities:

  • To join the Society, one must be an active member of the Museum.
  • Members are invited to attend a variety of behind-the-scenes tours, educational programs, and informal gatherings.
  • The Annual Dinner-Meeting of the Society features presentations by Museum curators, archivist, and educators. Society members then vote on the projects to determine the allocation of Society funds. Only Society members are eligible to vote and each member is entitled to one vote.
  • The membership fee is $150 per person or $300 per couple in addition to Museum membership, paid annually. Family memberships are $500 and include two adults and two adult children or grandchildren ages 40 and under. Additional family members may join for $125 each.
  • The costs for Society programs and activities will be paid on an individual reservation basis, over and above the membership fees. The memberships dues are used solely for the acquisition of artifacts, works of art, or object conservation.
