The Boats are Back in The Mariners' Museum Park
Newport News, Va.-- It must be spring! Beginning this weekend, Lake Maury will once again be dotted with boats of all shapes and sizes. The unique Mariners' Museum paddleboats, kayaks and canoes are once again available for rental.
Paddleboats seat two people and can be rented by the half-hour or hour. Museum members receive a discounted rate. Children ages 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult when paddling.

The Mariners' Museum, an educational, non-profit institution accredited by the American Association of Museums, preserves and interprets maritime history through an international collection of ship models, figureheads, paintings and other maritime artifacts. The museum is open from 10 A.M. until 5 P.M. Monday through Saturday, and 12 to 5 P.M. Sunday. It will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
