Docent and Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony and Reception for Achievement

At the April 4, 2011 luncheon, The Mariners’ Museum held a Docent and Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony and Reception for Achievement in 2010.

In 2010 alone our volunteers contributed 19,477.12 hours to the Museum,” Museum President and CEO Bill Cogar said during the luncheon. “During these hard economic times, you have selflessly donated an average of three weeks per volunteer.

The estimated monetary value of volunteer labor in 2010 was more than $406,095.95.
