Military Ceremonies

As a service to our military community, The Mariners' Museum provides both gallery and banquet space to host daytime military retirement, commissioning, and re-enlistment ceremonies at a special rate.

The Front Lawn, Main Lobby, Defending the Seas Gallery, Huntington and Anna Room, and the South Courtyard available for booking between 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Military Ceremony in The Huntington and Anna Rooms

Ceremonies in the Main Lobby and Defending the Seas Gallery make perfect locations for small re-enlistment ceremonies.

We allow all guests to tour the museum at no additional charge following the ceremony.

Ceremonies in The Huntington and Anna Room include:

• Ceremony rehearsal time prior to event day
• Up to 300 chairs, a variety of tables, and two podiums
• Two flags: American and State of Virginia
• Two red carpet runners
• Reception space in The Anna Room

Audio/Visual needs include:

•  Wireless and wired microphone
• CD player
• Tape player
• Speakers
• Ceiling mounted screen and projector
• Laptop hook-up for presentations
• Ipod connection
