Post-Isabel Damage

The Mariners' Museum Park and Noland Trail Devastated by Hurricane Isabel

With the help of volunteers and donations from hundreds of people, The Mariners' Museum Park is now open to the public. Restoration of the Noland Trail involved the removal of over 3,000 trees damaged by Hurricane Isabel.

While the Trail and Park are open, there is still a lot of work to be done. Museum staff are continuing to partner with area businesses and individuals to coordinate clean-up days and challenge grants still have goals that need to be met.

To volunteer to help with the clean-up, or to make your contribution, please call (757) 591-7746 or email membership@MarinersMuseum.org.
