Building the model making shop, almost completed, September 1934.  The shop built many of the fantastic models in our Great Hall of Steam and remained open until just after WWII.

  1. Do you have any models or representations of the “Sea Venture’, that historic ship that brought colony-saving relief to Jamestown in about 1609, while being wrecked itself on the way on Bermuda? I think I remember one from the days when I could travel about and was a docent at the Mariners’. I hope to do a program on the Sea Venture story for my fellow “inmates” at my current residence, WindsorMeade retirement community in Williamsburg.
