Designed for children 18 months to 8 years. FREE with $1 Museum admission.

Maritime Mondays! Fun for both children and parents! Join us every Monday morning for engaging activities with your children as they learn how we are all connected to the world’s water with story time and a craft. This program is designed for children from 18 months to age 8 years old.

Tickly Octopus

This week’s book selection:
Octopus has a special talent but, when something unfortunate happened, he begins to question his talent. Come find out what lesson Octopus learns in Tickly Octopus. Written and illustrated by Ruth Galloway.

Hand Over Hand

This week’s book selection:
How would you feel if someone told you that “a boat is no place for a girl?” That’s what Nina hears every time she wants to go fishing in Hand Over Hand. Come hear how this funny and heartwarming story unfolds! Award-winning author Alma Fullerton wrote this book after a young girl during a school visit asked Fullerton why there were so few children’s books set in the Philippines.
