Every Monday at 10:30 AM

Designed for children 18 months to 8 years. FREE with $1 Museum admission.

Fun for both children and parents! Join us every Monday morning for engaging activities with your children as they learn how we are all connected to the world’s waters with story time and a craft. This program is designed for children from 18 months to 8 years.

The Storm Whale

This week’s book:
The Storm Whale by Benji Davies is a heartwarming tale about a little boy in need of friendship, and finds it unexpectedly after a storm. Noi and his father live in a house by the sea, but his father works long hours as a fisherman to support them. One day, a baby whale surprisingly washes up on the beach after a storm, and Noi takes it home to care for it. The arrival of the new friend changes Noi’s life for the better, but he knows that his friend must be returned to the sea. In turn, he soon learns that is the perfect gift from one friend to another.
