On Tuesday, November 1, the Noland Trail will be partially closed in order to remove a hazardous tree along the path. This tree has a splitting trunk and is in danger of falling within the footprint of the Trail. This part of the Trail will be closed for approximately three hours, from 9 AM to 12 PM, while a contractor removes both trunks and clears away any debris blocking the Trail.
Museum grounds staff will be on the Trail at both closure points to direct Trail guests and turn them around during the closure period. No guests will be allowed to pass through the work zone during the closure for safety reasons.
