This is a new lecture series presented by The Mariners’ Museum and Park staff. Go behind the scenes of the Museum and explore our collection while learning about the work the staff does.


Join Archivist Bill Barker as he examines World War I era posters from the Museum’s collection. These pieces of propaganda played an important role in galvanizing public opinion and shoring up support for the war effort. Learn how this pairing of pithy phrases and dramatic artwork elicited such a strong reaction from the public and significantly impacted how the country thought about war. RSVP Here
