A few days ago I spotted a video posted by the staff of the Western Australia Museum about the twelve days of Christmas. It inspired me to write my own, Mariners’ Museum version of the twelve days of Christmas to celebrate Dollar Admission and the holidays and today, a few of our Museum guests helped me illustrate it.

On the first day of Christmas, our dollar let us see a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the second day of Christmas, our dollar let us see two Dahlgren cannons and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the third day of Christmas, our dollar let us see an astrolabe, two Dahlgren cannons and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the fourth day of Christmas, our dollar let us see one turret soaking, an astrolabe, two Dahlgren cannons, and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the fifth day of Christmas, my dollar let me see GIANT GOLDEN WINGS, one turret soaking, an astrolabe, two Dahlgren cannons and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the sixth day of Christmas, our dollar let us see big boardroom models, giant golden wings, one turret soaking, an astrolabe, two Dahlgren cannons and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the seventh day of Christmas, our dollar let us see England’s greatest leader, big boardroom models, giant golden wings, one turret soaking, an astrolabe, two Dahlgren cannons and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the eighth day of Christmas, our dollar let us see Ericsson’s propeller, England’s greatest leader, big boardroom models, giant golden wings, one turret soaking, an astrolabe, two Dahlgren cannons and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the ninth day of Christmas, our dollar let us see Cook’s clock for sailing, Ericsson’s propeller, England’s greatest leader, big boardroom models, giant golden wings, one turret soaking, an astrolabe, two Dahlgren cannons and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the tenth day of Christmas, our dollar let us see lenses flashing signals, Cook’s clock for sailing, Ericsson’s propeller, England’s greatest leader, big boardroom models, giant golden wings, one turret soaking, an astrolabe, two Dahlgren cannons and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the eleventh day of Christmas our dollar let us see all sorts of small craft, lenses flashing signals, Cook’s clock for sailing, Ericsson’s propeller, England’s greatest leader, big boardroom models, giant golden wings, one turret soaking, an astrolabe, two Dahlgren cannons and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my dollar let me see twelve Crabtree models, all sorts of small craft, lenses flashing signals, Cook’s clock for sailing, Ericsson’s propeller, England’s greatest leader, big boardroom models, giant golden wings, one turret soaking, an astrolabe, two Dahlgren cannons and a hydrofoil in the Great Hall.

Maybe next year we’ll convince everyone to sing!!!!! I hope everybody has a great holiday!
