Learn numerous teaching strategies on various historical topics that can be incorporated into your classroom. Participants will develop activities and create lessons aimed at engaging the 21st century learner.
Sign up for a two-day session or one-day session and join us as we focus on using different technological platforms to better analyze primary sources.
Each participant will be given a certificate of completion, a letter testifying to the program content and the number of hours of work completed.
Cost for the two-day session is $65, one-day session is $35.
Financial assistance is available through scholarships to cover the entire cost of both days of programming.
Teacher Professional Development sessions will be recorded, and only shared with participants for a limited time following each session.
All K-12 teachers in Virginia and across the United States are encouraged to apply. International applicants will also be considered.
Scholarships are open to employed full and part-time teachers, including substitutes. Secondary teachers in social studies, librarians, computer resources as well as anyone interested in making cross-curricular connections are eligible
