The Mariners’ Museum and Park invites educators to a Teacher Professional Development session focusing on Ancient Egypt. This in-person session will include a behind-the-scenes tour of Museum artifacts, rare books, and cartography. It will also include a gallery tour, hands-on activities, and resources related to Ancient Egypt.

All educators are welcome! Please note, this professional development is specifically designed to cover the 3rd Grade Virginia Standards of Learning (3.2, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8).

Attendees will receive a certificate of completion for 3 hours of professional development.
