The leadership team at the Museum has decided to suspend the concert series for the summer of 2017 in order to allocate resources to a number of very exciting changes at the Museum.
For the first time in our history, we are undergoing changes to half of our core gallery space at the same time, including the Great Hall which is now home to the newest addition to our collection, the massive AC72 catamaran that won the 2013 America’s Cup races. The Museum is also in the midst of a major resurfacing project on the Noland Trail, exploring construction options to return our vast library and archives to The Mariners’ Campus, upgrades to our HVAC systems, and more!
The Museum is incredibly grateful to all of the community sponsors, volunteers, non-profit organizations, and patrons who have supported the concert series throughout its 15 years.
We are currently working on a smaller number of targeted, community-driven events in the Park to engage local residents. The first event scheduled is Celebrate the Park on June 24 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Noland Trail.
We would love to hear your feedback on how the Museum uses the Park for future events and programs and invite you to take a brief survey here: https://goo.gl/forms/ZSDDeWtNujlO0e933. We are also working to set a date to invite the community to give input and to hear about the exciting changes happening at the Museum. We will announce this date soon.
