Throughout the year, 6th - 10th graders transform into scientists for the day during The Mariners’ education program, Buggin’ Out in the Bay. Through a mix of outdoor activities and indoor demonstrations, students investigate critters, run tests, and record data to assess the health of Mariners’ Lake, while learning what they can do to have a positive impact on our local watershed.

The Mariners’ Museum and Park hosted Camp Community Connections for a kayaking adventure, where middle schoolers explored nature, learned water safety, and discovered the environmental importance of Mariners’ Lake.
