In partnership with the Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE), the City of Newport Waterworks Department, and the City of Newport News Recycling Office, The Mariners’ Museum and Park is serving as a site host for a “mini” workshop to assemble rain barrels.

This one-hour workshop will include guidance and tools for registrants to build a 55-gallon rain barrel. Registrants will need a vehicle large enough to transport their barrel home after the workshop.
