The Mariners’ Park and Noland Trail

To serve those who may be immunocompromised and those ages 55+,The Mariners’ Museum and Park has a established a special hour in order to promote the safest experience possible for all of our Guests. Individuals within these categories may reserve their tickets any time reservations are available, and may also choose to reserve their tickets during this designated time.
Second Sunday of the Month from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Friendly Hours is an inclusive time where Guests with mobility, cognitive, social, health challenges or concerns can experience the Museum in a less crowded environment with reduced sound and lighting. Click here for more details.
Timed tickets are a convenient way for our guests and Members to plan their visit and to help expedite the check-in process when they arrive at the Museum. All guests and Members, including children and infants, are encouraged to reserve a ticket in advance. See admission prices above.
Tickets are also available at the door, but we encourage guests and Members to reserve their tickets online. By purchasing a ticket online or in-person and making a reservation, you are acknowledging our Guest Conduct Policy listed below.
Mariners’ Museum Members are encouraged to reserve tickets in advance for them and their guests. Members are invited to take advantage of their Member Guest Passes benefit by contacting the Membership team at (757) 591-7740 or [email protected]. When you arrive, please plan to show your Membership Card and eTicket to validate your reservation.
Yes! You will need to stop by the Admission Desk, even with an eTicket.
There are two ways to validate your eTicket(s):
If you need to change the day or time of your visit, please contact us at (757) 596-2222 or email our Guest Relations team at [email protected]. This will allow another Guest to reserve your original time slot, should you need to reschedule.
Tickets are non-refundable. However, The Mariners’ Museum and Park will make every effort to assist you in rescheduling your visit.
After you’ve checked in during your designated ticket time, you may leave and return at any time during the day of your reservation.
Once you have arrived during your designated timed ticket reservation window, you may visit as long as you wish. Click here to check out tips for how to make the most out of your visit!

Failure to comply with instructions from the Museum team and rude or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

The Mariners’ Museum and Park requests that all guests follow the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the State of Virginia and the Virginia Department of Health pertaining to mask requirements, self-screening, and other safety and health recommendations. If you or someone in your group is not feeling well, we ask that you and your group stay home, recover, and reschedule your visit for a time when you feel better.
Out of respect for other guests who might have particular health concerns, The Mariners’ Museum and Park requests that all guests maintain a safe distance from others during their visit. To enable guests to easily maintain physical distance during their visit, the Museum has made timed tickets available online and placed directional signage throughout the galleries to avoid crowds and bottlenecks.
For your safety, the Museum team and volunteers will follow the guidance and recommendations established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the State of Virginia and the Virginia Department of Health.
