What to Bring

We recommend placing all valuable items that you don’t want to get wet into a dry bag.
What to Wear
- Wear clothes and shoes that you’re okay with getting wet, such as quick-dry athletic clothing. Shoes should be closed-toe and secure at the heel.
- Long sleeved shirts and long pants can help protect you from the sun.
- Hats and sunglasses are a great idea, but be sure to secure your sunglasses with a strap.
Practice Leave No Trace
- Dispose of waste properly. Find trash cans throughout the Park and at the Boathouse.
- Respect plants and wildlife: keep a safe distance, do no harm, and leave what you find.
- Travel on trails and durable surfaces to reduce erosion.
- Show respect for other visitors and their experience: be mindful of your volume and distance.
