Join us as we connect with nature, and one another,
to build the next generation of Park stewards.
This #GivingTuesday, November 28, 2023, we invite you to help us meet a generous $50,000 match from the Noland Family to support the care and maintenance of the Noland Trail. With your help, the Noland Family will match every dollar raised for this #GivingTuesday up to $50,000 to ensure the Trail receives the care it needs for years to come.
Each year, thousands of people from all over our community either run or walk on the Noland Trail, make memories by the James River and Lions Bridge, find inspiration from the wildlife in The Mariners’ Park, and celebrate special events. This Park was created for you to have a place to be with nature and one another.
This year, we’re inviting you – our community – to share what the Noland Trail gives to you. Every day from sunrise to sunset, the Noland Trail is used by so many of our neighbors and friends, all seeking different inspiration from this beloved outdoor resource. Share what the Noland Trail gives to you on social media and help us inspire others in our community to give back to their favorite park and trail.
The Mariners’ Park and Noland Trail were both established as gifts to the community. While many believe The Mariners’ Park is funded by the city, in reality, the majority of funding comes from private support. We are grateful that the spirit of generosity of the Huntington and Noland families continue to inspire acts of kindness from our donors.
Be part of our mission as we connect with nature and one another. Help us inspire the next generation of Park stewards so the Noland Trail continues as a free and valued community gem.
Together, we can reach our $50,000 goal and so much more!
